Boys soccer captured a rare win this week in what has been a tough season for another team transitioning to a new head coach. They beat Lakeridge 3-1, with senior captain Ian Quinlan scoring two goals and junior Francisco Cabello adding another.
Senior goalkeeper Zach Heidema also had a fantastic game. They’ll next face 7-3 Tualatin, on the road.
Girls soccer also secured their first league win of the season, coming Tuesday night against St. Mary’s by a score of 3-1. All three goals were scored by super soph Joey Baguio. They’ve got a home stand this week, as they host Tualatin on Tuesday and Lake Oswego Thursday. Both games kick off at 7 p.m.
