Although most Canby rodeo fans’ eyes are on the remarkable performance of Chase Dougherty, who is a close second in the National Finals Rodeo bull riding championship after eight of 10 rounds, he’s not the only local cowboy making waves out in Las Vegas.

Header Randy Polich and heeler Steve Johnson, both from Canby, took home a piece of the $1.4 million offered at the Yeti No. 13 World Series of Team Roping Finale this week. They finished 19th, with a score of 34.69, to take home a check for $11,200. Way to go, guys!
