Canby Cowboy Drops to Sixth at First NFR, with Six Rounds Still to Go

After a strong start at his first NFR (National Rodeo Finals) competition in Las Vegas, 20-year-old Canby cowboy and professional bull rider Chase Dougherty has been bested by the bulls at this next two go-rounds Saturday and Sunday, registering a no-score both nights.

That drops him to sixth in the standings of the annual, season-ending rodeo championship, and sixth overall for earnings. But it ain’t over yet, not even by half. With a total of 10 rounds, there’s still plenty of rodeo left to go.

The fifth go-round will be tonight. We’ll keep you posted. Go get ’em, Chase!
