Bridging Cultures, Filling Bellies: Local Nonprofit to Host Annual Fundraising Dinner Next Month

Bridging Cultures holds a community dinner event at Locust Street Park in 2016.

Mark your calendars for the upcoming fundraising dinner by Bridging Cultures next month. It will be held at 6 p.m. March 14 at Zion Mennonite Church in Hubbard.

The local nonprofit began 20 years ago by making and handing out bag lunches to neighbors each week in the apartment buildings on Cedar and Locust Street.

It’s now grown into a diverse organization that has hosted thousands of meals and community events with the goal of building relationships across cultural and economic boundaries.

Bridging Cultures invites you to join them for an evening of goodwill, good food, and good company, supporting the work of Bridging Cultures to build bridges to neighbors, language, technology, legal status and leadership in our community.

The evening will include a silent auction & raffle, entertainment and — seriously — amazing food. Cost is $40 per person or $160 for a half-table. To register, visit http://bit.ly/BC2020RSVP.
